Boulder Marathon...ARGGG that was tough...I keep repeating that inspirational quote at the top of blog in my head when I think of entering this again.

KENNEBEC PASS

This is the trail head at Kennebec Pass. We did this run a while back but I LOVED every minute of it. This is the most beautiful country in the summer and takes away the pain of running for hours on end

Here I am trying to run downhill, little do most know, you actually get more soreness from this that running uphill....and yes, I had to rest for several days after this run

BOULDER MARATHON September 21 2008


Trying to psych myself up at 5 am before leaving the hotel for the marathon start.

My friend Cherie and I huddling to stay warm before the start of the marathon.

Here is the start of the marathon.

Ok, I am really trying to be happy here, I hit the wall about mile 21, but just kept running.



Driving back to the Denver Airport after the marathon. My rental car was actually smaller that a mini cooper...It was CRAZY!!!



At long last the finish line. This was a tough marathon, hit the wall at about mile 21 and the rest was just one foot in front of the other.
